LAKE TAHOE’S LONGEST-RUNNING HALLOWEEN PARTY MARKS 30TH ANNIVERSARY
MontBleu Resort & Casino Hosts The 30th Annual Freaker’s Ball – A Lake Tahoe Tradition
(Stateline, Nev.) – Sure, the freaks come out at night. But once a year at South Lake Tahoe, locals, visitors and generations of partiers come out to MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa for the Freaker’s Ball on Halloween Friday, October 31. Now in its 30th year, the event has a reputation of a devilishly good time. Events kick off at 8 p.m.
“Every year the party gets better, bigger, and wilder,” said Mike Donovan, MontBleu’s marketing manager. “I didn’t this anything could top last year, but this years party is on Halloween so we’ve lined up the best ticket yet.”
Speaking of tickets, the 30th Annual Edition of the Freaker’s Ball will features three parties all on ticket. The party takes over MontBleu’s convention center and two nightclubs, Opal Ultra Lounge and blu. Throughout the three venues of debauchery, body painting, go-go dances, drink specials and more than $10,000 in costume prizes will be awarded for several different categories.
The night is headlined with live music from the world’s greatest party band “The Cheeseballs. The Cheeseballs are Bay Area legends and feature funky jams from the 70s, 80s and 90s. With so much going on, the HQ Bar is a comfy rendezvous point with a full bar, fire and ice pit, and view of the casino floor for a spectacular people-watching vantage. Feed the freak inside at one of MontBleu’s four signature restaurants: the award-winning Ciera Steak + Chop House, del Soul Mexican Grill, 20Four continuous 50’s cuisine and the buffet, which hosts a lobster feed on Friday and Saturday nights.
Freaker’s Ball participants are encouraged to party responsibly – they can stay the night and keep the party going through the morning. The following day, MontBleu will award the final $10,000 prize of its “Cash is King Giveaway” promotion at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the casino.
